What's on Your Bookshelf?

After seeing The Harbinger on bestseller lists for awhile, I've finally broke down, bought and read it. I love books that change or challenge me and this one definitely did. It was nice to see two other Christian fiction novels also on the list, one by Karen Kingsbury, the other Joel Rosenberg.

So, what have you read recently that has challenged or changed you?

Here's another title  (only 2.99 on Kindle) from friend, John Robinson. He says THIS was the book he was born to write.

Jesus said that no one would know the day or the hour of his return. But that leaves the possibility that God might reveal the month or the week. John Robinson offers just such a scenario in a thriller unlike any other that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until they reach the amazing, inspiring end.

  3. The Harbinger definitely changed the way I view my country and God's eternal plan. I never thought I enjoy a work of fiction that was written entirely in dialogue, but I couldn't put it down. Thanks for the heads up on John. My kind of book. Heading to Amazon now!

  4. Last book I read that really changed me was Soul's Gate by James Rubart. I'll need to check out The Harbinger.
