  3. I appreciate receiving this newsletter. You interviewed Charlene Patterson in your first one.
    I submitted a query letter to Bethany House and Charlene on the strength of my highly competent query was willing to take a look at my first 3 chaps. She did decide to pass on it informing me the competition was fierce for historical slots. Nevertheless, I did get her time and encouragement on my work. Keep them coming.
