Just a quick post to let you all know that I'll be out of town for the next few days. I'm travelling to Ohio to be by my mother's side as her mother is withdrawn from life-support. My grandmother is a Christian, praise God, so she's going home.
I appreciate your prayers for the family, for a peaceful departure for my grandmom and a safe trip as I travel with 3 small children. My 2 boys and my "adopted" daugther, (the neighbor's little girl).
Thanks so much for your prayers.

Will be thinking and praying for you, Gina. Thanks for letting us know so we can. I'm sorry to hear your grandmother is moving to heaven, but I'm glad to know she's a believer. She's going to be so happy, so very soon. She's not gone forever. She'll be IN forever.
ReplyDeleteGina...I'm praying for you! But isn't it awesome that death is not the end for us??

Thanks everyone! I'm home. My grandmother met the Lord at 7 am this morning. I imagine her beautiful new body, new name and being embraced by Jesus. Wow. What hope we have. I'm home now and praising God for His mercy.
ReplyDeleteMaybe your grandma will meet mine, and they'll get to be buddies. My grandma's feisty (some might have said edgy) and she was trapped in her body longer than she wanted to be. What a wonderful thing to know that their souls soar free and with Jesus.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly. My grandmother was pretty feisty herself. Thanks for the encouraging words.
