We're accepting entries in the last round of OUT OF THE SLUSH PILE, Novel Journey's Fifteen Minutes of Fame Contest, up through and including November 10. The category is Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror. At 12:01 on Thursday, November 11, it'll be too late -- you'll be a turned into a pumpkin. And pumpkins can't enter writing contests.
So if you're an unpublished novelist and have a completed work of weirdness you'd like to share, get off your Duff and show it to us. Download an entry form, fill it out and email it, along with your first chapter and a synopsis, to NovelJourneyContest@gmail.com. Questions? Send them to that same address.
The winner will be announced on December 13.
Then we'll get to work reviewing the all winners over the past year so we can announce the Grand Prize winner in January.
Hard to believe we've been at this a year! Thanks to the participation of our wonderful readers, the contest has been more fun than a barrel of ducks -- which has got to be a whole lot better than a barrel of monkeys, because I wouldn't think a barrel of monkeys would be much fun, would you?
