A Very Special Moment . . .

After ten long years of writing, submitting and rejections, our very own founder, Gina Holmes' debut novel, Crossing Oceans is now available for pre-order on Amazon and CBD (just in time to make a perfect, (and inexpensive), Mother's Day gift. Hint-hint.

Gina has worked tirelessly over the last five years bringing us daily interviews, wisdom, book reviews and other helpful industry information. This is our way to say thank you and do something nice for her.

Besides, it really is a fantastic book. She's going to give Nicholas Sparks a run for his money.

Here's what other's are saying:

“Beautiful and heartfelt.”Charles Martin, NYT bestselling author of Where the River Ends

“Poignant and unforgettable, CROSSING OCEANS will break your heart — and then put the pieces back together again. This is an uplifting and inspiring tale that reminds us to live every day as if it’s our last.” Tess Gerritsen, NYT Best-selling author.

"Gina Holmes explores the beauty, tenderness and tenacity of mother-love in Crossing Oceans with marvelous skill and insight. An outstanding debut from a gifted storyteller. Bravo!" Susan Meissner, Author of The Shape of Mercy

“Moving, heart-rending, and poignant—a stunning debut. Holmes returns us to what matters in a too-short life—what it really means to come home.” Tosca Lee, author of Havah and Demon: A Memoir

“Crossing Oceans is a confident debut, understated yet powerful.”
Eric Wilson, New York Times bestselling author of Fireproof

“This story will wring you out and hang you up to dry. It’s beautifully written and deep as a river.”
Lauraine Snelling, author of A Measure of Mercy

“A stunning debut novel about love, loss, and the circle of life. Gina Holmes knows how to find laughter in tragedy. . . . Her characters will grab you by the heart and have you laughing, crying, and holding your breath.”
Marshall Karp, author of The Rabbit Factory

Crossing Oceans reminds me of A Walk to Remember and The Notebook both written by Nicholas Sparks. Gina has an amazing gift to masterfully blend together a memorable story filled with tenderness, hope, love, forgiveness, and a sense of well-timed humor. This story touched my heart deeply.
Nora St. Laurent, president of Finding Hope Through Fiction

Not many people can throw on a cape and save the world. Isabella, however, I could rescue. This was my chance to be a hero, even if I was the only one who would ever know it.

Jenny Lucas promised herself that the day she left home, pregnant and alone, she’d never look back. But life has a way of upending even the best-laid plans. Now, five years later, she returns to her sleepy North Carolina town to face the ghosts she left behind. While she still can, she’s determined to have a say in who will raise her little girl—the father she hasn’t spoken to since she left or Isabella’s dad . . . who doesn’t yet know he has a daughter.

The remarkable story that unfolds will bring a family back together again to discover the kinds of love that save us when nothing else can.
